MAAT and the Belém Library are launching a joint initiative to promote reading and bring communities of readers closer to the museum's exhibitions.

Each month, there will be reading suggestions made by artists and curators for MAAT's exhibitions. The Belém Library will make the respective books available to be borrowed, thus expanding the themes covered by the museum's program.

Several artists and curators select between 2 and 3 books that encourage and complement the visit to MAAT's exhibitions. In addition to online communication, the reading suggestions will be announced on the poster at the entrance to the Library.
