(Courtesia LIFE Magazine’s Archives)
The work of João Louro has always reflected a particular interest in the capacity for language to describe the world in which we live in, giving rise to a
paradox of language as image. Linguistic Ground Zero is a project that focuses on the reproduction of ‘Little Boy’, the first atomic bomb in history. In this tour, we discover some of the main concepts of Louro’s work, as well as the references and messages of this striking and powerful installation.
