MAAT have put together a programme of activities for the school holidays planned around science and art. Based on experimentation and discovery, and with an emphasis on creativity, these workshops combine fun and learning.
"SHALL WE SAIL AROUND THE MUSEUM?" | ENERGY AND ELECTRIC WORKSHOP WITH ANTÓNIO BANZA
Come build a solar-powered boat, customise it and test your work in a water competition. Accept the challenge!
"WHAT CAN ROBOTS DO?" | VISUAL ARTS AND ROBOTICS WORKSHOP WITH DASH&DOT AND CUE
In this adventure you will explore robots Dash and Dot and use your imagination for various missions. But first, you will get to know the robots, what they are used for, how they work, what’s inside them and how to programme them. Back to missions! You will navigate the sea through constellations, visit the bottom of the ocean in a submarine and collect treasures among ruins which had never been found before.
It is possible to book for mornings or afternoons only.
LUNCH: The museum will provide minders for children who bring a packed lunch.
