Text

As part of the exhibition VENUS – Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos,  A Avó Veio Trabalhar [Grandma Came to Work] is organising a wool embroidery workshop, where the skills of grandmothers meet contemporary creativity.

Each participant will receive a small piece of wool fabric, which will serve as the starting point for experimenting with different stitches, textures, colours and shapes. Guided by the ‘grandmothers’, participants will be invited to explore the art of embroidery and create a unique piece, in a spirit of sharing, learning and creativity.
