Night at the Museum for Families is a unique experience that invites families to spend the night in an emblematic building that keeps the historical and scientific heritage of an old electricity factory alive.
Participants are invited to walk along a Secret Tour that will take them through areas of the Tejo Power Station that are usually closed to the public, such as the upper floors of the boilers and the coal distribution belt. The programme also includes a fun paper chase activity with clues that reveal curiosities about the old power station and, finally, team building and solar-powered racing carts in an activity full of energy.
After all this discovery and fun, participants will pull out their sleeping bags and spend this special night right inside the museum!
What the participant must bring:
- Sleeping bag and pillow (the Museum will provide thin matts).
- Toothbrush, toothpaste and a face towel (showers will not be possible, as MAAT does not have shower rooms, only toilet facilities).
- Any continuous medication (if applicable).
- Comfortable clothes for activities and for sleeping.
