MXGPU the duo of Moullinex (Luis Clara Gomes) and GPU Panic (Guilherme Tomé Ribeiro) — present a special double screening to mark the world premiere of How We Made: Live Over Lisbon, a behind-the-scenes documentary directed by Ana Viotti about the making of their most ambitious project to date.
Live Over Lisbon is a 45-minute video concert directed by André Tentugal, filmed at dawn, in a single take, on a floating crane platform above the Tejo River. Capturing music from their debut album Sudden Light, the performance merges electronic music, visual art, and architecture in a singular moment where sound meets landscape.
There is something fitting about this screening happening at MAAT. It was here that MXGPU first performed under this name and it is in front of its walls, above the river, that they chose to film it. For the first time, both films are seen on a big screen, in the place that made the project possible.
Moullinex and GPU Panic are Portuguese producers, songwriters, and vocalists known for releases on Crosstown Rebels, Watergate, TAU, Get Physical, and Discotexas. Following a year of touring and festival appearances worldwide, they brought their immersive 360° live show home to Lisbon combining synthesizers, live vocals, and striking visuals in a performance that celebrates the connection between music, light, and place.
The session closes with a conversation between Moullinex and GPU Panic, director Ana Viotti, moderated by the director and radio announcer Tiago Ribeiro, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
This programme is part of the celebrations marking International Day for Monuments and Sites (IDMS) and the 10th anniversary of MAAT.

MXGPU gathers the creative forces of Moullinex (Luís Clara Gomes) and GPU Panic (Guilherme Tomé Ribeiro) both producers, songwriters, and performers whose collaboration explores humanity through electronic music. At the heart of their live show is a transformative 360° performance built around a striking triangular structure that dissolves the line between stage and audience. Their debut album Sudden Light, released September 2025 via Discotexas, is an 11-track journey born in makeshift studios around the world, contemplative and communal, balancing raw emotion and electronic precision, vulnerability and power. Through releases on Crosstown Rebels, Watergate, Get Physical, TAU, and Discotexas, MXGPU have built a global following with immersive performances and earned the support of Adam Port, &ME, Adriatique, Damian Lazarus, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, among others. Featured by Ableton, KCRW, Triple J, and SiriusXM, their sound has reached over 100 editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. MXGPU create spaces where transformation happens between artist and audience, sound and silence, darkness and light. Every performance is an invitation to cross that threshold.
