Art. Football. Community.
The MAAT + Atlético project brings together artistic culture and sporting culture at Tapadinha Stadium. Stadiums are places of immense symbolic value and, by opening them to the public beyond match days, art can transform them into lasting cultural destinations. By creating space for dialogue between these two worlds, the project highlights its civic dimension.
The works presented here establish both a real and symbolic relationship with Tapadinha Stadium, Atlético Clube de Portugal, its supporters, and the wider local and sporting community, bringing together art, sport and community.
