In this conversation, presented as part of MAAT’s 10th Anniversary Programme, curator João Pinharanda and conductor Jorge Salgueiro explore the exhibition "without sorrow of heart". As they move through the exhibition, they reflect on Pedro Cabrita Reis’s works and the connections they establish with music, literature, and other forms of artistic creation. The discussion offers audiences a chance to gain deeper insight into the exhibition’s universe, as well as the references and ideas that run through the artist’s practice.
This session is part of the Conversations in Motion: Art and Other Forms of Knowledge series, an exercise in listening and shared thinking, where dialogue becomes a catalyst for discovery: a space in motion, where ideas circulate, intersect, and evolve.
The conversation precedes the presentation of VESTI LA GIUBBA, a new work by the Associação Setúbal Voz developed in response to Pedro Cabrita Reis’s exhibition.
