THEORY/PRACTICE COURSE ON VIDEO INSTALLATION WITH ANA RITO
Video installation (time-based media) has been theorised as an exercise exploring the image-viewing time determined by the viewer’s movement, where concepts like “exploratory duration” or “spatialised time” appear as subjects to be pondered. This course focuses on studying and analysing structures which are inherent to film and video, in their perceptive and cognitive dimensions, by exploring the idea of a spatiality which can transform the viewer’s perspective on physical and architectural space.
Course with Ana Rito and participation of Victor Jorge.
